Return to Learn

Education is Key

November is "Return to Learn Month."  Wayne State University has joined Governor Jennifer M. Granholm to encourage Michigan citizens to return to the classroom to finish higher education degrees. Whether you want to finish a degree or are attending for the first time, there's no better time to apply to Wayne State.

Undergraduate students who apply in November and enroll for classes for the first time in either the winter 2006 or spring/summer 2006 terms will receive a registration fee waiver.

Advance Your Career

A higher education can be the ticket to a higher paying job. According to Governor Jennifer Granholm, a college graduate earns a million dollars more in a lifetime than someone with only a high school diploma. Many of WSU's programs are in high-paying, in-demand fields.

Fit It Within Your Budget

Getting financial help is easier than you may think. You may qualify for financial aid and scholarships. WSU offered more than $185 million in financial aid in the last academic year. Additionally, many employers offer tuition reimbursement. Check with your employer to see if you qualify.

Find the Time

Whatever your schedule, WSU offers convenient options that work for you. Many WSU programs offer classes at night, on Saturday or online. Additionally, WSU offers classes at six satellite campuses around the Detroit Metropolitan area, including Harper Woods, Macomb, Madison Heights, Oakland, St. Clair and Wayne County, in addition to the main campus in Detroit's Midtown. You can choose to study part-time or full-time, whatever works for you.
